St Lawrence is not only a congregation who gather on Sundays, but a church family who are encouraged to meet together during the week at a variety of groups and events.  This helps us to grow both in our faith and our relationships with one another.

Small Groups

We believe every Christian will benefit greatly from being in a group for study, prayer and fellowship as we seek to build up and encourage one another in our faith. Each small group will be slightly different depending on the leaders, time available and material studied, but every group will have a time of Bible study, prayer and sharing together.  You will never be forced to pray or read out loud.  Groups meet throughout the year, with a break for Lent and most also break during August.

Lent Course

These are ecumenical small groups, joining with other Christians in Lechlade, with several groups meeting weekly for the five weeks before Easter.  Please contact the Parish Office for details of times and locations.

Men Aloud Out

Alpha, Christianity Explored or Life Explored

Mothers’ Union
