Wednesday mornings, during term time, at 9am we meet in the children’s corner at St Lawrence to pray together. We pray for any number of things, including prayer requests left in the church by visitors. Everyone is very welcome to join us – you do not need to pray out loud to come along!

Thirst is a discussion group for young people, aged 11+ to study the Bible, debate hot topics and consider ‘our place in this world’ in a safe setting. We trust it is a place for young people to be themselves and feel comfortable enough to ask any questions and explore their spiritual journey from a Christian perspective.

This is where we review the last year of the church family’s life, look ahead to what God is calling us to, and where we elect our churchwardens and PCC members to serve the congregations of St Lawrence Lechlade over the next few years. If you’re on the Electoral Roll and are unable to attend, please send your apologies to the PCC Secretary, Brian Rudge (brudge@tinyworld.co.uk, 01367 253433).

The meeting will start at about 11.15 after the 10am service, and last about an hour.

Two distinguished musicians of international renown will be playing a very special concert at Noon on Friday 5th May in St Lawrence Church, Lechlade in May. Massimo Di Trolio, clarinet and Maiko Mori, piano, will perform:

The first of our new series of men’s breakfasts. Featuring a great cooked breakfast, a talk from excellent men’s speaker Richard Coombs, and time to chat. The Riverside Inn are kindly hosting us in their upstairs room, and providing the breakfast: bacon, egg, sausage, tomato, mushrooms, beans, black pudding, hash brown, toast, plus a veggie option, breakfast cereals, fruit juice, tea and coffee.  Please bring cash for payment, thanks.

Thursday house group @ The Holmes' house

This house group meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays for Bible study and fellowship, and has socials when there’s a 5th Thursday of the month. It is mostly studying Romans, but with occasional forays into the Psalms.
