About St Lawrence
|
The Church and the Parish Lechlade on Thames is a small attractive riverside town on the edge of the Cotswolds with a population of almost 3000. Lechlade Parish Church is part of the Gloucester Diocese and is known to the locals' as St Lawrence. The St Lawrence Church building is located in the centre of Lechlade and is a landmark for miles around, set close to the Thames and dominating the market square.
Our main Sunday morning service is attended by about 130 adults and children. There are about 200 people on our Parish Electoral Role. Adjacent to the building is Church Cottage which is used for @ The Arc and a variety of daytime and evening midweek activities as covered elsewhere on this site.
There are strong links with St Lawrence School which is a Church of England Primary school. Email: info@stlawrencelechlade.org.uk Last Modified: 15 October 2007 |
