When Ram Prasad, a mission-partner from Nepal, visited Lechlade (along with Manoj) at the beginning of September 2009, Cecil and Cecile Joseph kindly acted as his host. They were invited to write a couple of paragraphs of their impressions of his stay. This is what they said, “The instant Ram Prasad was introduced to us by his co-ordinator we found him to be a very warm and pleasant person. During his time with us, Ram prayed and read his Bible at least three times daily. He acted as a true Christian. He was willing to do whatever was asked of him during his stay in Lechlade. However, he specially expressed a desire to be given the opportunity to share with the congregation the struggle he had with his family at the age of 19 as he journeyed towards becoming a Christian believer. Ram was delighted when I shared with him the book that I use for my daily prayer (Our Daily Bread), as he had never seen such a book. He asked for some copies to read with his family when he returned home to Nepal. We were happy to have Ram with us, as he was such a perfect guest, appreciating and giving thanks for everything done for him. Let us continue to pray that God will bless him and keep him safe in his journey to eternal life.” Email: info@stlawrencelechlade.org.uk Last Modified: 17 July 2011 |
